CYNTIA

Cyntia is a vivacious 23-year-old mother of two boys and married to Sergio. Cyntia works as a harvester and also as a classifier, during the blueberry season. Their original home was made with wood and had all kinds of water filtration issues. Her husband decided to sell their car and take a construction class to learn how to build with bricks and mortar, so they could build a better home for their children. Cyntia helps her husband with the construction on the weekends. Their dream is to be able to finish the plumbing, close the holes where water still gets in the house, and rebuild a vegetable patch that was washed away with the flood and where they used to grow vegetables to feed their boys.
